Her experience in corporate settings and as a facilitator taught her the importance of vulnerability in leadership.
“I used to think I had to have all the answers. But over time, I learned the importance of becoming vulnerable with others. I’ve found that when I’m vulnerable with those I work with, trust grows and my cup gets filled,” she reflects.
Working closely with leaders in the credit union industry, LeAnn gained invaluable experience navigating marketing challenges and crafting communication strategies that supported organizational growth. Her natural ability to build relationships and offer thoughtful guidance earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor. Currently, LeAnn is volunteering her time to help build the TriUnity Foundation, a groundbreaking nonprofit where she also serves as Board Chair. Founded by St. Cloud Financial Credit Union, TriUnity is the first and only credit union-led national foundation that provides direct financial grants to members facing terminal illness. TriUnity’s model allows credit unions to support their own members in times of crisis, without the compliance risks or administrative burdens typically associated with internal aid programs. Offering grants of $2,500 and $10,000, TriUnity helps preserve dignity, alleviate financial distress, and fulfill the cooperative promise of supporting members through every season of life.
