Rabail Yasrab: Championing Mental Fitness and Empowering Women Through Coaching
Imagine a world where mental fitness is as commonplace as physical fitness—a goal ambitious in scope, yet deeply personal to Rabail Yasrab, a Mental Fitness Coach and Construction Architect from Copenhagen, Denmark. With a passion for helping women build resilience, Rabail’s story is one of personal growth, self-discovery, and an unyielding determination to transform lives through mental well-being. Her journey is a testament to the power of visualization, self-development, and the impact of a clear mission.
Early Education
Rabail’s academic journey began in Pakistan, where she pursued her O’Levels and A’Levels at Beaconhouse School. With a keen interest in problem-solving and design, she decided to follow a path in architecture, enrolling at KEA – Københavns Erhvervsakademi in Denmark to pursue a Bachelor’s in Architecture Technology and Construction Management. “At 21, I studied Construction Engineering despite uncertainty,” she shares, reflecting on how this period became a transformative part of her life. It was during this time that she encountered the concept of visualization, a tool that would later play a pivotal role in her personal and professional growth.
Gaining Experience in the Field
During her undergraduate studies, Rabail gained practical experience through various roles that helped shape her understanding of both construction and teamwork. From working as a Salg Assistant at Netto, Salling Group, to interning at Metroselskabet & Hovedstadens Letbane, she developed a range of skills from sales management to architectural rendering.
“As an intern at Metroselskabet, Rabail was always very proactive, willing to help, and take responsibility. Her skills, positive attitude, curiosity, and learning capacity made her a valuable asset to our team,” says Galina Slavova, her mentor during her internship.
These experiences not only honed Rabail’s technical abilities in Revit modeling, project management, and construction engineering but also highlighted the importance of leadership and collaboration in achieving success.
Pivoting Towards Mental Fitness
Despite her early success in architecture, Rabail felt a growing passion for mental health. At 18, she had experienced her own struggles with fulfillment and happiness, a challenge that led her to explore the human mind and the power of self-development.
“At 18, I was at my lowest and felt unfulfilled. At 19, I began exploring the human mind and saw positive change. At 20, I delved deeper and developed a passion for it,” she recalls.
This period of self-discovery ignited a passion for mental fitness that became an integral part of her life and career.
Realizing that mental fitness was often overlooked, especially in the fast-paced, high-stress environments many women navigate daily, Rabail decided to dedicate herself to helping others overcome these challenges. “You are best positioned to help those you once were,” she often says, embodying her commitment to guiding women toward resilience and self-empowerment.
Merging Architecture and Mental Fitness
While Rabail’s professional path in architecture continued, her focus began to shift toward coaching. Balancing her role as a Student Assistant at Molio – Byggeriets Videnscenter and studying architecture with her evolving interest in mental fitness was no easy feat. But Rabail was determined to combine these two seemingly disparate fields into a unique blend of technical expertise and personal growth.
Her coaching approach revolves around visualization—a tool that transformed her own life.
“The self-development tool that changed the course of my life is visualization. It has the power to transform your life too,” she explains.
Through visualization, she encourages her clients to envision their goals and break through mental barriers, offering personalized coaching and stress management techniques to women in need of resilience and growth.
Empowering Women
Today, as a Mental Fitness Coach, Rabail’s mission is clear: to make mental fitness as common as physical fitness. Through her coaching programs, she helps women build resilience, manage stress, and embrace their personal growth journey. Her work is deeply rooted in empathy and a belief that mental well-being should be accessible to all.
“Listening to her story reminded me of the resilience and potential every human holds. She endorsed that asking for help isn’t a weakness, but a strength,” shares Naveed Shah, a LinkedIn Coach who has collaborated with Rabail.
In addition to her coaching, Rabail is a prolific content creator on LinkedIn, sharing practical self-development tools three times a week and offering insights into mental fitness through her newsletter, Mindset Mastery Weekly. Her commitment to mental well-being extends beyond her immediate clients—she aims to spark a global conversation around the importance of mental fitness, particularly for women in high-stress environments.
The Road Ahead
With plans to pursue a Master’s in Nordic Urban Planning Studies at Roskilde University, Rabail continues to expand her expertise in both architecture and mental fitness. Her unique background allows her to bridge the gap between technical disciplines and personal growth, making her a powerful advocate for holistic development.
“Her dedication to personal growth is truly inspiring. While pursuing architecture, she has found her passion in mental fitness and self-development,” remarks Rico Lazo, a public speaking coach who has worked closely with Rabail.
As Rabail looks toward the future, her vision remains unwavering: to empower individuals to prioritize their mental fitness, just as they would their physical health. Through her work, she is not only changing individual lives but also challenging societal norms around mental well-being, making resilience and personal growth accessible to all.
