Khem’s journey commenced in 1992 with Soaltee Oberoi, leading him to acquire formal education in hospitality from Switzerland. His pursuit of knowledge extended to a Human Resources Development (HRD) Diploma from SHATEC Singapore and a TAE Certificate IV from Australia. A graduate degree in commerce added a well-rounded foundation to his academic profile.

In 2007, Khem founded GATE, an award-winning hospitality academy in Nepal. GATE’s affiliation with the EHL network of Certified Schools and EUHOFA membership underscores its commitment to quality education. Khem’s role involves transforming educational excellence and overseeing business development activities.

Khem’s leadership extends to various roles, including serving as the President of the Nepal Swiss Chamber of Commerce & Industries. As the Chapter President of EHL Swiss School Alumni in Nepal, he continues to contribute to the legacy of Swiss Hotel Management education.
