Lori Franke-Hopkins’ path began with a deep-rooted passion for education and communication. A native of Illinois, Lori pursued her academic foundation at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, earning a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication & English. After earning her Master of Science in Secondary English Education, Lori embarked on her career as a Professional Educator at Carrollton High School. Her leadership expanded further when she became the District Leader-Superintendent of Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100. In this role, Lori was responsible for shaping district policies, developing programs, and managing school operations. Her tenure as superintendent saw enhanced student development and a robust, forward-thinking curriculum that prepared students for future success.
